Can an SCF be utilized during real-time and playback scenarios?
The SCF software does not support real-time processing of data. In the real-time scenario, the header and data files are incomplete and it is possible to attempt to read from either file prior to the data being received. Therefore, the values for the input variables may not be attainable when the algorithm is being executed and thus, the algorithm cannot be executed correctly. In the playback scenario, the data is always available provided data was collected at the time period being processed.
