Can an RTO remove qualifications/accredited courses or competencies from the scope of registration?

0

Yes. RTOs are encouraged to do this periodically and there is no cost associated. Quality Directorate will update the RTOs registration details to reflect the removal of qualifications no longer delivered. By reviewing and updating the scope of registration the RTO will avoid paying unnecessary fees for qualifications/courses no longer offered. This relates to a part of Condition 8 – Accuracy and integrity of marketing and Condition 9 – Transition to Training Packages/expiry of accredited courses.
