Can an organization contract with a capacity-building organization to be the fiscal agent and manage grant activities?
The lead applicant has to be providing social services in the State of Texas. It is recommended that an eligible small- to medium FBCO should apply and partner with a capacity-building organization. The lead organization may have a fiscal agent if the applicant is 501(c)(3) eligible, has their own Board of Directors and meets all other eligibility criteria outlined in the RFP.
