Students can be assigned a random number at the beginning of the course to use throughout the semester. Grades can be posted using this number as long as the numbers are kept confidential, between the student and instructor, and posted in a random order. Grades cannot be posted in alphabetical order and the random number should not include any portion of a student’s social security number or Clarion ID.
