The InstantOffice solution is based on open standards, such as RIP and OSPF, and it supports ubiquitous protocols such as IP and IPX. Vertical Networks has also licensed Cisco IOS, which provides native access to Cisco’s unique routing protocols, such as IGRP, as well as full support for SNA protocols. In addition, with its T1/PRI Module with Drop and Insert Serial Interface, InstantOffice can connect an external router to an integrated T1 access circuit.
