Can an Initial Educator who DOES NOT hold a type 30 or 40 professional “teacher” license serve as a “teacher peer” on a PDP team?
Initial Educators who do not hold a type 30 or 40 professional “teacher” license can attend a PDP Team Training, but cannot serve as a “peer” on a team and will not be listed on the DPI website. Once an initial educator successfully attains a professional license, the educator can send a team member form and date of training to Mary Benzine at the Department of Public Instruction, PO Box 7841, Madison WI 53707-7841. The educator will then qualify to be a “teacher peer” on a team and will be added to the “teacher” spreadsheet on the DPI website.
