A. A candidate may not file declarations of intent or applications for a place on the November 2006 general election ballot for two or more offices that are not permitted to be held by the same person, and are to be voted on at one or more elections held on the same day. Also, a candidate’s name may not appear more than once on the ballot. See § 52.034, Texas Election Code.
