Incarcerated students may take IDL courses. All IDL course lessons can be mailed through the United States Postal Service (USPS), and special arrangements can be made with the education officer at the correctional facility for proctored examinations. There may be some restrictions in courses with field work assignments or those that require Internet access or special projects. Please contact our office for additional information. What other services are available to IDL students? IDL students have access to the University System of Georgia’s GALILEO (Georgia Library Learning Online), as well as to various UGA resources including, UGA Libraries, EITS Computer Services, Learning Disabilities/Disability Services, Tutorial Services, the Language Laboratory, the University Health Center, Parking Services, and UGA’s Campus Transit System.
