Can an existing structure be made “green”?
There are many steps someone can take to make a structure more “green”. Using more energy efficient lighting, for example. Or, increasing the “R” factor of the insulation to reduce the heating/cooling costs are two things. Installing low flow toilets and reduced flow showerheads can reduce the amount of water used. Doing these things will not only save energy and water, they will save money as well.
