As a nurse i would recommend first switching family doctor, and do from there while the ENT can order lab test for thyroid levels there are definitely other issues that can cause these symptoms like lymphoma. They will need to do complete blood work up to get to the bottom of this for you. it is your right to ask questions and tell them when you do not feel like you are getting the appropriate level of care that you would like a second opinion.
