Can an engineered hardwood floor be refinished?

0

With today’s pre-finished floors, this is becoming and less and less of an issue, however refinishing can be done if necessary. Engineered wood floors that are at least 3/8″ in thickness or more can generally be refinished one or two times. The rule of thumb – the thicker the floor, the more times it can be refinished. Be sure to check the manufacturer’s recommendations regarding the number of refinishes that can be done for your particular floor.
