Can an engine start to use oil when changed to Bimrose Lubricants?
This is possible but rare. If the engine has been run on a low grade oil for years and then changed a high detergent oil from any company, oil consumption will follow. This condition is rarely reversible as the motor was probably badly worn tp start with and would been close to failure regardless of the oil type used.
