Can an employee retrain his/her job after a positive test?
Yes, but only if he/she agrees to see a substance abuse professional (SAP), receive treatment, and pass a return to work drug test. In addition, the employee must be subject to random testing for a period of time at the direction of the SAP. Employers may also decide to terminate upon receipt of a positive drug test.
