Can an employee make a contribution with funds from a business checking account or business credit card?
No. Only personal funds from the employee submitting the matching gift request are eligible for the Employee Product Giving Program. Once you have submitted your contribution online, your credit or debit card will be authorized for the amount of your order to ensure that funds are available when the order is ready to ship. Your credit card will be charged once your recipient organization has been verified and product enters the HP shipping process. Contributions made using personal checking accounts will be drafted from the checking account at the time the contribution is submitted online. You will not be contacted prior to funds being withdrawn from your credit card, debit card, or personal checking account.
