Can an eBay/PayPal coupon be used during checkout?

Unfortunately, no. Coupons sent to eBay shoppers come from PayPal and are to be used in conjunction with standard eBay checkout. eBay/PayPal does not notify sellers of their issuance, nor do they intend for them to be supported by secure checkouts outside of eBay, like the one we use. Because we utilize an off-site checkout, which we feel is a more secure and efficient checkout process than eBay can provide, eBay/PayPal created discount codes and coupons cannot be recognized. By working directly with eBay/PayPal and our checkout providers, we hope to enable coupon redemption in the future.
