Can an do cats cry, like emotionally, not from physical pain?
Yes, generally most cats will cry in grieving over death or separation and it’s very normal and has even been documented that they will cry if they feel the loss or absence of a certain presence. Just as we humans have feelings so do our furry companions and loved ones and if the feelings are strong enough they will express these emotions. If you have a feline that is crying or grieving for some reason then just try to be understanding and offer it all the love it needs to get through it’s ordeal. Nothing helps better than a compassionate heart.
