Can an australian ciutizen join the USAF or the RAF without having an american citizenship?
An Australian can join the RAF and still keep his Australian citizenship, but to join the USAF you would have to change your nationality. A number of “Fleet Air Arm” Australians joined the RAAF while others transferred to the British Navy to fly on their aircraft carriers following the de-commissioning of the HMAS Sydney and the HMAS Melbourne in the mid-1970’s.
