As part of an inspector possibly verifying that visitor control is adequate to ensure compliance with the regulations for doses to members of the public, including visitors under 20.1301(c), the inspector may review a limited number of licensee records and interview AUs to verify that AUs did determine the appropriateness of the 500 mrem dose limit for some or all visitors to particular patients before visitations began.
