Can an association be incorporated Australia-wide?
Each State/Territory administers its own legislation in relation to incorporating an association in its jurisdiction. Therefore, an association wishing to be incorporated Australia-wide would need to incorporate separately in each State/Territory. Alternatively, if an organisation were to register as a company under the Corporations Act, the registration would take effect Australia-wide.
