Can an angel have terminal illnesses, disorders or defects?
Yes and no. An angel can be born with illnesses and defects, but these will be corrected when they begin to hit puberty. Even if they do not manifest physically until they are much older, they have the ability and thus the illness or defect will be healed within a couple of years of the onset of puberty, depending on the disease itself. For instance, blindness, deafness, weak immune systems or congenital diseases will lift as though they never existed. Also, mental disorders that are organic will lift in time as the body corrects itself. This may take years. If you’re thinking of having a character in this situation, run it by the mods to verify that it would, in fact, make sense. Not all disorders, defects or illnesses are logical.
