Can an activity receive both event and league certification?
Yes. An activity can be classified as both an event and a league allowing both the participation of Division I student-athletes and the attendance of Division I coaches. Based on the operator’s answers to the initial questions in the application as to who will participate, the questions on the application will automatically appear for the correct certification that applies. Separate applications to request event and league certification for the same activity are not necessary.
