Can an activation be moved to a different computer?
If you are using a “key” activation, you can move the activation to a different computer by plugging the USB license key into that computer. If you are using “code” activations, the activation can be moved to a new computer a limited number of times each year. Performing the deactivation procedure will remove the activation from a computer and increment the number of available activations maintained by the web site. You can then use this activation on a different computer. This feature is provided so you can upgrade computers, make major hardware changes to a computer, or move to a new facility. It is not meant to move activations on a daily or weekly basis.
