Yeah, it can get dumber, just need to add a little violence. Winston Churchill supported giving women the vote. Even with his support he was still constantly harassed by suffragettes, and was thought to have coined the word “henpecked” in response. Early in life he recorded his apprehensions, writing that once women got the vote “all power passes to their hands.” In 1909 a female suffragist attacked him at a train station with a dog whip, shouting, “Take that you brute!” as his wife jumped in to save him from being pushed under a train.
