Can amendments be expedited?

If there is a compelling need, the IACUC Chair will review the reason for the request to deem if it warrants an expedited review. If the reason is justified, the protocol or amendment needs to be submitted to the IACUC office for review. If a single member of the IACUC requests a full committee review, the submission must go to a full committee meeting. Expedited reviews are granted on an exceptional basis only.
