Can Alzheimer suferers develop temper tantrums?
My Father is in the late stages of Alzheimer’s Disease. These trantrums and obsessions are quite normal for this condition, but not everyone has the same symptoms, so you need to get a proper diagnosis. I hope to God she hasn’t got Alzheimer’s – it’s a dreadful thing for the sufferer and the family involved and wreaks havoc on family life in general. You can log onto the Alzheimer Society website which will give you lots of information, but do get your GP involved and get a proper diagnosis, which will then lead you onto more support.
