Yes, alumnii can check books out of the Butler Libraries, but you will need an Alumni ID Card. Call Alumni and Parent Programs at (800) 368-6852 ext. 9946 (or stop by Robertson Hall) to receive a identification number and authorization form. Then stop by Public Safety (call 1-800-368-6852 ext. 9396 for hours) located in the Butler University Police Deptartment at the corner of Sunset Ave. and Hampton Dr. to get your photo taken and your card produced. A $5 processing fee will be charged for each card. Your Alumni card will also be needed if you would like to use a computer at the Irwin Library or at the Science Library.
