Honestly it sound like the artist may have went a tad to deep, To my knowledge there is nothing you can do for scarred tattoos however contrary to what the person above wrote, It is NEVER a good idea to use neosporin or anything of the like on a tattoo reason being is most are petroleum based and will pull the color out of your tattoo, Your artist should have recommended A&D ointment or tattoo goo, Yes A&D ointment is in the baby care section however it does help the healing process of a tattoo but should Never be used more than 3 days, After that switch to a lotion such a lubriderm something that is alcohol and fragrance free. I would go back the tattoo parlor where you got your tattoo and ask to speak to the owner, Show him your tattoo and tell him you’re not happy with it. You should receive a free touch up, As for the scarring it may go away considering its still kind of new however it may not. really only time can tell.
