Personnel costs, including salaries and benefits, are an allowable use of allotment funds. If the staff position involves additional responsibilities, other than implementation of programs and activities addressing the intent of the legislation, then allotment funds may be used to pay only for that portion of the salary that corresponds to the percentage of the staff members time designated for allotment purposes.
