Alliance gives the AS/400 system administrator the ability to turn off Telnet access without actually terminating the Telnet servers with the End TCP/IP Server (ENDTCPSVR) command. With the Alliance configuration menu you can enable or disable Telnet access to the AS/400 with a simple panel. This gives the operator a simple and easy-to-use means of controlling Telnet on the AS/400.
