Can all these foods serve as a daily source of Omega 3 fatty acids?
Whole Fish – are high in acid-forming proteins. Acid-forming foods put pressure on the kidneys, encourage osteoporosis, and increase the risk of malignancies. In addition, fish are contaminated with heavy metals, especially mercury which is extremely toxic to the brain, the hormonal system, and the immune system. Mercury can pass through the umbilical cord and maternal milk. Fish contain only the EPA and DHA types of Omega 3, but not ALA. ALA is the main Omega 3 fatty acid passing through the maternal milk and from it the body produces EPA and DHA as needed. ALA has additional advantages, which do not depend on its conversion to EPA and DHA (see the attached list of references). Omega 3 oil capsules from fish — are not efficient, since most of the Omega 3 fatty acids are oxidized; Omega 3 fish oil, which is stable inside the body of cold-water fish, is usually distilled at a temperature of 250°C (482 degrees Fahrenheit), which destroys most of the Omega 3 fatty acids, rendering the sup
