Material listed in the excluded works on the CLA website cannot be digitised. Non-UK published material where the publisher refuses permission cannot be digitised.

No. If the item is already held by the library in electronic format then the extract would not be digitised. If an electronic version already exists which the library does not subscribe to then normally the extract cannot be digitised. The library would purchase the electronic copy, provided the cost was not prohibitive. Material listed in the excluded works on the CLA website cannot be digitised. Non-UK published material where the publisher refuses permission cannot be digitised.
