You will need to make sure that you have Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows 2000, Windows ME, or Windows XP on the machines that are to receive the wireless adapters. For the laptop you can get a PCMCIA card (also known as a PC card, not PCM card) or you can get a USB adapter. I would suggest the latter because it is easier to attach an extension cable (often provided with the stick-type of USB wireless adapters) and move the adapter to a location that provides better reception.
