Can all functions be accessed from the r1s front panel?

Yes, everything can be controlled with the 3 knobs and iPod/iPhone touch controls on the front of the r1 (or with the Cue remote). So, if you lose your remote you still have complete control over all the r1’s functions (unlike some other brands).
