Can advantix be used to control parasitic diseases of rabbits and ferrets?

0

advantix is not toxic for topical use in rabbits (LD50 2000 mg/kg) or in rats (5000 mg/kg), and presumably this toxicity is similar for ferrets. It is also very likely that advantix may be efficacious on parasites in these animals as well. Generally speaking it should however be considered that these animals are mostly exposed to infestations by fleas only and that a product like Advantage will therefore be sufficient.
