Can Advanced Placement (AP) examinations fulfill the basic science requirements?

0

At the discretion of the Admissions Office, Advanced Placement scores may be acceptable, subject to McGill University’s undergraduate admission policy (in brief: score of 4 or better*), and if it is known that he student has followed sufficient laboratory and course work. Applicants who wish to claim AP examinations as fulfilling any part of their science prerequisites should have official results sent directly to the general admissions office (College Board Code #0935). Upon request, applicants may be required to submit proof of AP course and laboratory work (e.g. course syllabus). If you have submitted an application, please check the status on Minerva regularly to know if such a request is placed. AP scores annotated to high-school or university transcripts will not be considered as official scores. The Admissions Office reserves the right to refuse any course it judges not acceptable. *See the McGill Prospective Students website for more information.
