Can Advanced or Advanced-Subsidiary Level (A-Levels) courses fulfill the basic science requirements?
At the discretion of the Admissions Office, A-Level examinations may be acceptable, subject to McGill University’s undergraduate admission policy, and depending on the examination board as well as the grade received. Applicants who wish to claim A-Levels as fulfilling any part of their science prerequisites should have official results sent directly to the admissions office. Prerequisites conducted solely at the AS Level are not recommended. Certain educational systems offer A-Level equivalents; each will be reviewed accordingly. For more information, please contact the Admissions Office. The Admissions Office reserves the right to refuse any course it judges not acceptable.
