Can ADB investigate and sanction government officials?
If investigative findings indicate that a government official is engaged in fraudulent or corrupt practices, or involved in any abuse or misconduct, OAI will report its findings to ADB Management and may refer to case to appropriate authorities of a concerned member government. OAI will work with ADB Management and the relevant operational departments to assess ways in which ADB may response, pursuant to the Anticorruption Policy and other ADB rules, policies and procedures.
