Can acidity of stomech destroy HIV virus structure..?
HIV in its full form is known as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).Which attacks and destroys CD4+ cells. Yes stomach acid does help in killing this virus but before reaching to your stomach this virus finds entry through many other openings to get into your blood stream for example bleeding gums, minor wounds caused by flossing or brushing, damaged Oesophagus. So stomach acid doesn’t or hardly get a chance to play the anti virus role. But if this virus has already made an entry into your blood stream through any other means like blood transfusion,unprotected sex etc. then stomach acid won’t do any help to stop or destroy it.
