I have not heard to of “scarring of the lungs” from reflux, but it makes sense that if you have damage to your lungs from reflux of acid, bile, bacteria etc from the stomach and below, you potentially, eventually have some scarring as well. I hope you are able to stop the reflux (with my book. ) and don`t have to worry about this.
