Can Accu-Clear be used in water gardens containing pond plants?

Yes. Accu-Clear will not harm submerged or floating plants After I added Accu-Clear my water cleared up but the flow rate on my filter slowed down. Why? Accu-Clear causes fine particles to clump together into larger heavier particles. These particles are more easily trapped by pond filters. As the filter collects the debris it may become clogged. This will result in a reduced flow rate out of the filter. Rinse or replace the filter media to restore proper filter flow. I don’t have a pond filter in my pond. I have a submersible pump and a fountain. Will Accu-Clear work? Yes. The prefilter on your pump will collect some of the settled debris and will require periodic cleaning. When the flow rate decreases clean the prefilter. Does Accu-Clear reduce the oxygen level in ponds? No. If an algae bloom suddenly dies or is trapped in the pond filter, however, a sudden drop in the oxygen level can occur. The decomposing algae will consume some of the oxygen in the pond. In very warm weather wate
