Can Ablestik products be stored at temperatures below or above the recommended storage temperature?
Higher than recommended storage temperatures are not recommended as it can reduce the storage life (shelf life) of the material. Higher temperatures result in an increase in chemical reactivity at the alternate storage temperature. In addition and for paste products, physical separation of the adhesive components can occur. Significantly lower storage temperatures should not be used because the chances of freeze-thaw voiding in syringes will increase due to thermal shock during the thawing process. For film products, significantly lower storage temperatures than recommended should not be used because of the possibility of cracking of the film. Ablestik photocurable adhesives should never be stored below 0°C unless specifically stated on the technical data sheet.
