Yes, it is possible that a yeast infection can cause preterm labor and even cause your belly to contract. a yeast infection is not what doctors worry about causing preterm labor it is more Bacterial Vaginosis that causes preterm labor and contractions… if you have a yeast infection you can take over the counter stuff like monistat to clear up it and you should be fine…
