Can a widow register for employment with DGR?
No. The widows are required to fill a P-II A form and send it to respective Zila Sainik Board for verification. After verification the form is sent to the concerned Record Office which in turn sends it to DG E&T, Ministry of Labour. The widow gets wait-listed and intimation is sent to her. This is applicable for onlyu those widows whose husbands” death has been declared as `attributable to military service”.
