Can a Wag! dog alert me to oncoming seizures, help me balance, or provide support while Im walking?
We are not currently training seizure alert dogs but are willing to do so on a per request basis. We do provide limited Mobility Assistance training that enables the dog to assist with balance and provide brace work for their partner, but these dogs are already Psychiatric Service Dogs for bipolar disorder, emotional support or other mental illnesses. Both seizure alert and mobility assistance are outside our areas of expertise.
