Can a vegetarian eat properly in México without a problem?
The question about eating in México as a vegetarian is a very common one here on the México branch, so I asked and received permission from the author to post this excerpt from his México trip report. Vegetarian eating – You can eat really well as a vegetarian in Mexico, trust me. Hands down, the best vegetarian food I’ve had between the international date line and prime meridian (I’ve been to the USA, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico). When it Mexico, hit up the restaurant Vegetariano Madeiro in the Centro Historico district on Madeiro st. about a block and a half west of the Zocalo. Their lunches are amazing.
