If access to a particular windows application is absolutely essential, the best way is through thin-client (or Windows Terminal Server). However, it is worth pointing out that the system includes OpenOffice that is fully compatible with Microsoft Office, and you have no licensing headaches or extra costs. There is an increasingly large list of Linux applications. If you have specific application functionality in mind, for example “typing tutor”, let us know and we may be able to integrate this for you.
