A union worker has the option of filing a grievance with the union about the discriminatory action of the employer, instead of filing a complaint with WorkSafeBC. However, a worker cannot pursue both a grievance with the union and a complaint with WorkSafeBC about the same matter. What happens when a worker makes a complaint to WorkSafeBC?
