Can a transfer student take CWU upper-division accounting courses before they are admitted to the accounting major?
• Transfer students who have been accepted as matriculated CWU students may take ACCT 305, ACCT 346, and ACCT 350 before being admitted to the accounting major if they have satisfactorily completed the course prerequisite of ACCT 252 with a minimum grade of C-. This allows students to progress in the accounting program while they finish one or two pre-requisite courses at the community college. ACCT 351 and all 400 level accounting courses require admission to the accounting major. This policy also applies to non-transfer students. No exceptions will be made to this policy, so please plan carefully.
