You could also try making photocopies of it with various settings to get the best print. Because the print is indented, it will be hard to trace without making a print of it. Or you could make a cast of it with crafting plaster and use the cast to make a print by rolling stamp ink on it and essentially stamping the cast onto paper. The most important thing is that you find an artist that can acurately pull off the handprint. Just because someone says they can do it does not mean they can do it right. Almost any tattoo artist will need to reduce the amount of fine lines in the handprint in order to keep it from becoming muddled over time. But a quality artist will take away very little of these fine lines and will make it look good for a long time.
