Can a swimmer take time off during the season and return at a later time?
Yes. We do not encourage this, but often, the winter months are a bit too cold for some of our younger swimmers. There is no additional penalty for taking time off, however the quarterly payment schedule allows for several points in time where there is no loss of fees paid in advance. Taking time off in the middle of a quarter will result in some loss of fees paid in advance. PLEASE NOTIFY THE BOOK KEEPER BEFORE YOUR INTENDED DEPARTURE. Let her know how long you intend to take off, and if/when you plan to return. If you choose to leave the team permanently, remember that all of the fees are non-refundable.
